The PURIZE® Xtra Slim
Activated carbon filters, which are considered the world's slimmest activated carbon filters with a diameter of just 5.9mm, are ideal for narrow or small joints. Available in six different colors -White, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow and Organic (unbleached) - They offer a diverse selection. Thanks to their loose activated carbon filling, they are less prone to clogging and sticking in cooler temperatures.
The effect of activated carbon
Depending on the filter sizee PURIZE® uses different types of activated carbon. The Xtra Slim Filter include coconut-based activated carbon, while the 9mm filters use black carbon-based activated carbonare filled. The exact way it works is difficult to describe, but the results speak for themselves.
Construction of the PURIZE® activated carbon filters
The unique design effectively prevents the filters from clogging. A combination of ceramic caps with holes, absorbent cardboard and precisely tailored, highly porous activated carbon in a precise shape ensures optimal filtration. A thin filter paper between the activated carbon and the ceramic caps prevents activated carbon particles from penetrating.
A balanced solution
The 9 mm activated carbon filters contain a largelarger amount of activated carbon, while the thinner 5.9 mm filters are filled more economically, which leads to a lower tendency to clogging.
PURIZE® offers its environmentally friendly packaging Activecarbon filter in recyclable plastic bags and glass containers to suit different preferences.
